Focused Services.
Chiropractic.
Dr. Boynton has 35 years of experience, combining multiple tools as clinically indicated. Treatment may include; Instrument and Manual Chiropractic Adjustment, Active Release Therapy (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (similar to Graston), Cold Laser, Corrective Exercise, and Kinesiotaping.
Sports Vision Training.
Sports Vision Training is at the cutting edge of training athletes for Optimal Performance and Durability. A baseline assessment shows you a report of where your current performance level is compared to athletes or individuals in the same sport or age group lie. Walk out with a specific plan on how to enhance your training!
Concussion Prevention/Performance Classes.
We start first with a basic assessment utilizing all of our cutting edge technology. Then we create a unique training and return to play protocol for anyone with concussion. We work specifically with athletes to help them prevent concussion! Our training includes a uniquely designed program, utilizing from our resources of; Sports Vision Training combined with Balance, Core and agility training. Optimal Vision skills, neck and core strength, as well as agility and endurance are the focus here. Private, and small group classes are offered.
Athletic Rehabilitation.
Both acute and chronic injury typically introduces a breakdown in movement patterns in the body. Identifying the compensatory patterns is vital to a full recovery.
Concussion/mTBI.
A Functional Neurology approach using state of the art SyncThink technology and NeuroCatch technology to identify concussion. SyncThink is also used as a key tool to guide treatment, and safe return to play protocols. We utilize the objective testing of the NeuroCatch to help set goals for return to play and enhanced performance.
Cognitive Performance.
A Functional Neurology approach to maximize Executive Function, and to identify and treat early cognitive decline. With degenerative brain disorders at an all time high, we focus on ways to maximize brain function and create longevity with strong cognition. Our Tools.
Strobe Goggles.
Those suffering from a concussion will overwhelmingly experience ocular, visual, balance, and/or cognitive problems.
Senaptec Quad Strobe eyewear can be used to address central/peripheral misalignment by adjusting the ratio of information allowed through the peripheral versus central regions of the vision. To start, the eyewear can be used with full bi-nasal occlusion.
This approach can help the individual regain capability in the peripheral vision, which research shows are a foundational step in the healing process.
The Senaptec
Sensory Station.
The Senaptec Sensory Station is a state-of-art sensory evaluation & training station which assesses 10 visual and sensorimotor skills.
In less than 25 minutes, you can determine an individual’s strengths and opportunities to improve sensory performance. This baseline allows you to set specific training goals to increase your brain health and performance levels.
The Senaptec Sensory Station helps to improve 14 fundamental skills for human performance.
SyncThink Technology.
SyncThink, is a Virtual Reality (VR) -based eye tracking platform that can assess brain health and improve performance. SyncThink's technology is supported by more than a decade of research and clinical studies, and is currently used by the U.S. military and select athletic organizations. Dr. David Boynton utilizes this technology in motor vehicle accident injuries, TBI cases, concussion prevention baselines and prevention, post concussion rehabilitation, and within athletic performance environments.
